The United ASEAN Move

ASEAN member countries came together last December 1 – 3, 2009  to work on an integrative regional approach that would solve the linking problems of GBV and HIV/AIDS.

Learning from One Another and Solving the Problems Together

Participants of the ASEAN Regional Conference, organized by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) with assistance from UNIFEM and held last Dec.1 -3, 2009, shared and compared their country’s experiences and GBV and HIV/AIDS formulated measures to come up with an intensive plan for the ASEAN Region context.
