The Project Steering Committee provides strategic direction and policy guidance to the GREAT Women Project. It also decides on recommended project approaches and general strategies and discusses opportunities for synergy-building with related projects of other donors.

The Project Steering Committee is composed of individual representatives from the Canadian International Development Agency, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Interior and Local Government, National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women, National Economic and Development Authority, Metro Naga, PALMA Alliance, the private sector, civil society organizations, and a woman entrepreneur.

National government partner agencies have appointed high-level permanent representatives and permanent alternates to the Project Steering Committee, who are strategically positioned in their respective organizations to more effectively promote the GREAT Women Project.
