Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) Executive Director Emmeline L. Verzosa (fourth from left), Taguig City First Lady Kaye Tinga (fifth from left), Dove ambassadors (from left) Raya Mananquil, Susan Campos, Pia Magalona together with (from right) Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Nicole Fonacier, Mariel Santos Po, Sara Black, Pinky Marquez, Chiqui Hollmann Yulo, and Timmy Cruz (at the back) led the Walk for Women’s Rights start up activity for the 2010 Women’s Month Celebration held last March 1, 2010 at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. Thousands of women and men from various government agencies, NGOs, NGAs, and private sectors joined the walk which is an awareness campaign on the Magna Carta of Women in an effort to make women’s rights real and to remind women to live life totally beautiful. The event, mainly sponsored by Dove was spearheaded by the PCW and hosted by the City government of Taguig.
